Personal Insurance Solutions

As your trusted advisor, we will work with you to identify the insurance coverages that are right for you, and explain the coverages and options available to you through our agency. We encourage you to carefully consider the differences in coverages. While price is always a consideration, your first concern should be to make sure you are purchasing the coverage that provides you the protection you will need at the time of loss. Our staff of professional agents can explain this difference to you.

Homeowners Insurance

Homeowners Insurance will protect your property against direct physical loss subject to certain conditions and exclusions within the contract. Whether you own a home or condo or rent property, coverage can be purchased to protect this important asset. Not only does the policy protect the structure, but it can also cover the contents as well.

It is safe to assume that all homeowners or renters policies are not created equal. Endorsements are available which may include guaranteed replacement cost, back up of sewer and water, identity theft and many more. Flood insurance is not included as a coverage in your homeowners policy, but may be purchased separately.

Homeowners Insurance also provides liability protection for you in the event you become legally obligated to pay money to another person for actions caused by you, your family, or your property. Additional property policies are available for seasonal or secondary homes and for rental property.

Umbrella Liability

With the increase in litigation in our society, it is important to obtain a level of liability which will provide adequate protection for your assets. Whether it is the unforeseen catastrophic automobile accident, a neighbor injured in your swimming pool, or your teenage son or daughter being sited for posting negative comments about his math teacher on the internet, it will give you peace of mind to know that your umbrella policy will protect you. We offer personal umbrella liability protection from $1- 10 million.

Automobile Insurance

Automobile Insurance

Automobile Insurance includes several types of coverage. Liability covers damage you cause to other people's property and injuries to those people. Medical Payments covers medical expenses for injuries for you, your passengers and other parties, regardless of who is at fault. Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist coverage protects you if you are injured in an accident with others who may not have adequate insurance or no insurance at all. Comprehensive and Collision coverage provide the physical damage to your own vehicle due to an accident or other event, such as fire, theft, or vandalism.

Not all states require auto insurance, however, they do have "financial repsonsiblity laws" that require all drivers to be able to pay for any damage or injury they may cause. Automobile Insurance will satisfy this requirement. Automobile Insurance policies may also provide coverage for motorcycles as well as some recreational vehicles, such as snowmobiles or ATV's.

Valuable Items

It may be necessary from time to time to purchase special insurance for valuable items. This would include such things as jewelry, silver, guns, cameras, sports equipment, coin collections or other fine arts. Very often, the insurance carrier will require an appraisal of the specific items to be insured. Coverage for such items is often limited for theft on a homeowner's policy.

Wedding Insurance

The Wedding Protector Plan from Travelers Insurance offers a variety of coverages such as: Cancellation or Postponement; Special Attire; Additional Expenses; Special Jewelry; Event Photographs/Videos; Lost Deposits; Event Gifts; Liability Insurance. The plan offers financial protection if certain unfortunate, unforeseen events should occur during the period leading up to and including the wedding day. As the average cost of weddings rises, now $27,000 in the U.S, wedding insurance is needed more than ever.

Life, Health, and Disability

Life Insurance is purchased to provide the funds necessary to pay for any or all costs and expenses after a person's death. Our life specialist, John Fehr, will work with you about your needs and goals to help you determine what level of coverage you and your family desire. The two basic types of life insurance are Term Insurance and Permanent or Whole Life. Term Insurance is written for a specific length of time and a specific death benefit. Permanent or Whole Life continues as long as the premiums are paid. Universal Life Insurance is a combination of the two and offers various investment options.

Life, Health, and Disability

Health Insurance is offered in many variations. We will work with you to provide the options available under an individual major medical policy linked to a Health Savings Account. If you are unable to work, what will happen to your income? Disability Income is designed to provide you with an income during the time you are unable to work due to illness or injury.

Group Discount Programs

If you are an employer or work for a company who has between 5 and 2500 employees, your company may be eligible for a group discount on your home and automobile insurance through various programs available within the agency. If you are interested in more information on this program, please contact Meme Fehr.
