Company History

In 1914, the company was founded in Hudson, Wisconsin by Arthur Hennington. O. Robert and Kay Sandeen purchased the agency in 1954, and in 1978 were joined by their daughter and son-in-law, Meme and John Fehr, who continue to lead the agency today.

1. Captive Agents. They can only sell insurance from one company, for example, State Farm.
2. Telephone and Internet Representatives. Like Captive Agents, they also can only sell insurance from one company.
3. Independent Insurance Agent or Agency (Sandeen Insurance). We represent multiple insurance companies, and do the necessary research to find clients the best combination of price to coverage. This saves you, the consumer, the hassels of comparison shopping (we do that); and lends you confidence, knowing that you have received the best deal available.
